Hollow Ceramic Micro Spheres

HOW IT WORKS

The small micron size hollow glass micro spheres which in part make up HEATSHIELD-R20 coatings are pure sodium borosilicate formulated with hollow ceramic spheres. 

Each closed cell smaller in diameter than a human hair acts as an efficient insulator.  Once applied, water evaporates from the HEATSHIELD-R20 acrylic emulsion topcoat and the hollow ceramic spheres align with each other eventually touching, then fuse into a continues membrane, the seamless HEATSHIELD-R20 topcoat and since the microspheres are over 60% void, the entire coating becomes like a flat thermos bottle.

Heatshield-R20™ is formulated to have a very small reaction to

radiant and microwave type frequencies.


With very little molecular movement there is very little friction,

so very little heat. 
PROOF
To confirm this phenomena take two ice cubes of the same size, put each one in a small zip lock bag. Cover one cube with Heatshield-r20 and pop both bags at the same time into a microwave for about 30 seconds. When you take them out, the one without Heatshield-r20 will be melted. The one protected by Heatshield-r20 will show very little change,  being protected by

Heatshied-r20.

TRY IT AGAIN

Using one of our competitors products on one ice cube and Heatshield-r20 on the other. The results will be evident with our competitors melted & Heatshield-r20 intact.
One reason Heatshield-r20 works so well is we have the lightest product on the market.
The less mass you have the less it retains heat.
